A new AutoHotKey (AHK) script has surfaced in recent weeks and is perhaps the most useful chat management tool available for PokerStars. The new AHK script doesn’t have an official name, but the concept is simple: it completely removes the Chat, Notes, Stats, and Info tabs from the table and places them in a central location that you can drag to where you need it.
Not only can you chat on all tables from one location, but your tables also look less cluttered, which is much easier on the eyes. The script captures all of your player notes, including the new color code feature on PokerStars, as well as the information in the Stats and Info tabs. To display the table information in the script, simply click on a table and its information will be displayed. To reattach the box to the table, just close the script and everything will be back to normal. Here is a look at what the table looks like with it running:
If you are new to AHK, this is a great opportunity to load this simple script. It doesn’t get any easier than this. Here is how you get started:
1) Get a copy of the PokerStars Detach Chat script.
2) Copy and paste the script into a new .ahk file, name it, and save and close the file
3) Double click the icon you created to run the program
4) Open up a table on PokerStars and you will see the script in action
Customizing various poker rooms to look the way players want them has become really popular, so this simple script should fit right in for lots of players. To play successful online poker, you need to be comfortable at the table; now, we can create a look that is exactly what we want. We have the ability to make the poker room look any way that we want it to now, so we should be taking advantage of all of the tools to help us do so.
Give this new script a shot. After all, it’s free to use and just might help you achieve better results by providing a more comfortable look at the tables and helping you ignore the tilting comments players make in the chat box.
If you have any problems, questions, or concerns, please make a post in the AHK forum and we will be there to help.
